Hi Reader, In my travels these past few years, I’ve learned a great deal of things about a great deal of things. From dear friends, those who became friends, and folks I’ll maybe never meet again, the lessons have ranged from action-packed-danger-literally-in-my-face moments to highly powerful insights sewn up with a simple “Hm, okay. Yeah.”
I wrote down a few words about one of the most important lessons I’ve learned. Wanna hear? Here it goes…
No matter how gentle you believe yourself to be, You can always be more gentle. No matter how firm you believe yourself to be, You can always be more firm. As grateful as you believe you are, Gratitude is infinite. Open the door of the hut, Feel the sun shine through the mist. Sweep the stones on the walk, Clear them of the storm debris. Welcome back those who return, Knowing you too are free.
Peace, Tommy
P.S. - I’ve learned that I really enjoy house-sitting and pet-sitting while I’m on the road. It gives me a chance to unhitch for awhile, be helpful to others, and sing or give fake TedTalks to animals, which I have thoroughly missed doing.
